Realizing the wait times on vinyl production had gotten way out of hand, Aver requested Douglas Barclay (the man behind VL) order extra TPs of "Automated Improvisation" so that he could sign them and sell them and create a modicum of hype amongst the vinyl heads whilst waiting for the real pressing to come back from the pressing plant.

These fuckers are signed by nearly all the players on the album (some were on holiday and could not be tracked down, soz). The almighty James W Brooks - the design maestro himself - has even signed these bad boys AND they come with a big dock-off holographic sticker.

Village Live Records are proud to present “Automated Improvisation” the new full-length LP by Berlin-based band Move 78.

The nine tracks of “Automated Improvisation” are constructed from the same three studio sessions as Move 78’s debut EP “The Algorithm Smiles Upon You” but feature many more additional home recordings with close friends of the band, some of whom are part of the prestigious Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and others are stalwarts in the ever-growing Berlin jazz scene.

The LP was produced using more experimental algorithmic processing than its predecessor, leading to more expansive and challenging compositions, displaying an evolution of Move 78’s unique blend of free-flowing improvised jazz and programmed, automated hip-hop.

All copies of the record come with a hand numbered holographic sticker, printed inner sleeve & gloss detail finish.
